Ariana Grande did an amazing job with her benefit concert to help Manchester victims!
Teaming up with various organizations, the singer organized an amazing show to raise funds for the families of those victims involved in the horrible terrorist attack back at her concert last month. With a star-studded lineup, donations, and ticket sales, the One Love Manchester benefit concert, held on June 4, raised at least $9 million and counting!
Stars that performed included Coldplay, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and more, as well as Little Mix and Victoria Monet, who are Ariana’s opening acts on her Dangerous Woman Tour.
According to the Manchester Emergency Fund’s Just Giving page, “money raised will be used to assist the victims of the attack, their families and dependents.” Any surplus funds “will be used to respond to similar events in the U.K. that charity trustees consider appropriate.”
I watched quite a bit of the event, since it was streamed live as well. It was really touching to see all of these artists there to spread love and light to this hurting city! Kudos to Ariana and everyone for coming up with this great event, and helping Manchester in this really tough time!
