After her sister Pippa’s wedding this past weekend, Kate Middleton is back to work with an inspiring PSA to raise awareness about children’s palliative care in the UK!
This week (May 22-May 28) was Children’s Hospice Week, and the Duchess of Cambridge kicked it off with a special video showcasing visits with youth with life-limiting conditions and the care services that exist in the UK for them. Serving as Royal Patron of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), it’s only fitting that Kate would be a part of this important week.
“For any parent, being told that your child may have a life-limiting condition, or may die young, will be one of the most difficult and isolating experiences you can face,” she said in the video. “Having someone to help you come to terms with this news, and the professional support and care that comes with this, can make an enormous difference. It can help families make the most of every precious moment they have together.”

I truly do love Kate, along with Prince William and Prince Harry. They have such a passion for making their country a better place, and it’s always nice to share about the good that they’re doing! This topic is particular is a hard one to discuss, but something that shouldn’t be swept under the rug. It’s great that the UK offers this high quality of palliative care to these kids and their families!
