Beyoncé made one of her biggest fan’s dreams come true with a simple FaceTime call!
Ebony Banks, based in Bey’s own hometown of Houston, has been in the hospital for the majority of her senior year. The teen is bravely battling a rare form of stage four cancer, with family and friends supporting her every step of the way. Using Ebony’s nickname, “Ebob,” they even went on to start a campaign to get the teen to meet Bey! #EBOBMEETSBEYONCE spread like wildfire on social media, with even the Beyhive stepping in to help share, all in hopes that Ebony would get her special moment with the star.
Welp, they made it happen! After getting word about Ebony’s story, Beyoncé called her up on FaceTime to chat and show love.

This was Ebony’s last wish — to talk with her idol. So glad her family and friends were able to make this happen, and that Bey took the time out just to talk with her for a bit. Something this small means the world!
Ebony continues to fight with a smile on her face with so much support around her. In fact, the Alief Independent School District and Ebony’s closest family and friends held an early graduation ceremony in her honor earlier in the month.
