Nas has announced a new clothing collection that will aid in black children’s development!

The legendary rapper dropped an exclusive 2017 Black History collection just in time for Black History Month! The line features inspirational dashikis, throwback Malcolm X-inspired hats and “Black Don’t Crack” graphic T-shirts and hats. nas and his team also developed new takes on classic cartoon characters like the Pink Panther ( “Black Panther”) and even a black Bart Simpson.

A portion of the sales from the collection will go to the National Black Child Development Institute.

“This collection is about turning things around and instilling positivity. Celebrating being Black in a loud and fun way,” Nas said of the line. “Taking a much-needed moment to be proud of the achievements we have made, our colorful culture, black royalty and excellence from the past, present, and future.”

Black history should be taught and celebrated all year round honestly, since so many black people made significant impact in society. Plus, some of the proceeds are going towards a great cause! It’s awesome that Nas developed this idea for the culture.
