Demi Lovato, Jennifer Hudson and so many more celebs are coming together for WE Day to inspire kids across the country!
The charity WE will host its second annual US national broadcast of WE Day on August 28, 2016 at 7 pm/6 pm CT. Students who attend across the US have taken one local and one global action through WE Schools, the charity’s yearlong educational program that encourages youth to be model citizens in their communities.
WE Day will have some awesome performances and speeches from celebs, as well as features of other kids making a difference. Other celebs participating include Charlize Theron, Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen, Selena Gomez, Natalie Portman, Common, Big Sean, Ciara, Jacob Tremblay, Zooey Deschanel, Tyrese Gibson, Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, Paula Abdul, Hannah Simone, Rico & Raini Rodriguez, and even Kermit the Frog and other Muppets! Crazy star-studded lineup!
“I’m proud to be a part of the WE Movement—part of a community made up of world-changers who are coming together to make a lasting, positive impact across America and the world,” Demi said. “WE Day will unite and inspire Americans, reminding them that there is so much good and love in the world. I live WE every day and believe that by supporting one another we can truly change the world together.”
You can support the WE movement by taking the pledge at WE.org. For every pledge, $10 will be donated to the charity, which hopes to continue to grow their domestic empowerment programs and sustainable development programs in communities overseas.
This definitely sounds like an amazing event! Kudos to all of these celebs coming out to inspire kids to make an impact in the world!
