Rick Ross has partnered with the Wingstop Foundation to give out scholarships to youth living in urban areas!
“To me, a company as huge as Wingstop, we’ve seen so much success doing what we’re doing, let’s take it to the next level,” Rozay said regarding the scholarship. “Let’s make ourselves that much more a part of the community…We see the drop out rates. We know what’s going on. So what’s the biggest thing that we could do? Wingstop as a company came together and put together an urban scholarship that’s for the underprivileged, that’s educationally based. That’s me talking to my audience. We need to hear this, and we need to bring all these ideas and concepts to the table and start as soon as possible.”
Scholarships will also be awarded to Wingstop employees if applicable, in their pursuit of higher education. Grants will also be awarded to mentoring and education groups to try to lower the number of school dropouts.
Of course, Ross owns several Wingstop restaurants himself, so it’s very cool to see him partnering with them to develop this scholarship program. It will give some kids out here a shot at education that they may not have been able to afford otherwise This is an amazing venture that will definitely make a lot of impact! Kudos to Ross!
Ross owns several Wingstop franchises throughout the country, and we’re glad he’s teaming up with the company for something extremely important. Props.
