The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are balancing their royal duties and parenthood, but still making time for charity efforts!
Kate Middleton is set to host a special charity fundraiser at Houghton Hall (the home of the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley, a civil parish in Cheshire, England). The event is to raise money for the East Anglia Children’s Hospice, who assists kids, from babies up to 18-year-olds, with end-of-life care. Kate herself first because involved with the organization back in 2012.
According to the Daily Mail, the benefit will be held on June 22. Tickets start at 6,000 pounds (close to $8500), while those who donate 10,000 pounds (around $14,000) or more will be able to stay the night at Houghton. There will be a champagne reception, a live jazz band, and plenty of food from chefs like Tom Kerridge.
Of course, this is being planned by Kate and the royal team, so it’s sure to be a spectacular event. More importantly, though, it’s assisting an organization near and dear to Kate’s heart!
