Adele Pays Tribute to the Victims in Brussels Terrorist Attacks

As more details emerge about the devastating terrorist attack in Brussels, Adele decided to pay tribute to the victims through her music.

According to ABC,  Adele asked the audience at her London concert on Tuesday (March 22) to turn on their cellphones to light the city’s 02 Arena before she went into song. “This is ‘Make You Feel My Love,'” she said,  introducing her cover of the Bob Dylan song, “and this is for Brussels.”

Video shows that the entire arena lit up the arena with their phones as Adele sang.

Sadly, bombs were detonated at the Brussels Airport in Zaventem, Belgium, as well as at a subway station, on Tuesday morning, killing dozens and injured hundreds more.

Model and actress Cara Delevinge, who was in the audience that night, expressed her emotions during Adele’s concert, saying on Instagram, “I cried… a lot and laughed even more! A truly beautiful and inspiring show ?? thank you @adele for being you!”
