Oprah Winfrey will be auctioning off some items in her designer-filled closet for charity!
According to PEOPLE, the media mogul has teamed up with eBay to clean out her closet, auctioning off some great pieces for a charity near and dear to her heart. All of the pieces will even start as low as 99 cents!
“Most of these items are timeless and classic pieces,” says the creative director of O, the Oprah Magazine Adam Glassman, who help Oprah decide which items to donate. “They have appeared on the covers of the magazine or episodes of her show, which make them so special.”
He also added: “It’s the chance to buy a piece of television history and help change young women’s lives, since all the proceeds from the sale are going to the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation. And the best part is they’re all gently worn and like new. How can you beat that?”
Some of the items include clothing, handbags, and shoes from Badgley Mischka, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Dior and Valentino. The auction begins on March 1 at 8 am PT!
This is a great way to get some new clothes in your closet from Oprah and give back at the same time!
