Zac Brown Band has collaborated with various artists to create unique guitars, and is now auctioning them for charity!
According to PEOPLE, Zac himself played these artsy guitars throughout his 2015 tour, and is now auctioning them off to raise money for his charity, Camp Southern Ground. The band worked with tour sponsor Bai Beverages to created The Guitar Project, collaborating with artists from all over the country, “each with a unique and moving story,” Zac said to PEOPLE. “One of the artists, Seth Chwast, was diagnosed with autism as a child,” he added. “I was incredibly inspired by him and his art, and to see him overcome his challenges and be able to share his unique gifts is the essence of what Camp Southern Ground is all about.”
Proceeds from this auction will benefit his non-profit, which gives children with academic, social and emotional difficulties the chance to learn life skills and teamwork. “When I was a child I attended a camp that integrated kids from different backgrounds,” Zac said. “I learned a great deal both as a camper and then as a counselor, and those experiences shaped who I am today.
