In a hilarious attempt to raise money for charity, Carrie Fisher and Ellen DeGeneres hit the streets to sell a handful of tickets to the opening night of Star Wars: The Force Awakens!
According to PEOPLE, the duo rocked headbands with Princess Leia’s famous hair buns as they stood on the side of a roadway in L.A., advertising their effort with signs. Carrie, of course, is reprising her role as Princess Leia in the new Star Wars film.
Of course, no one wants to be duped, so drivers were cautious to pull over, but eventually many people came through to barter for tickets! Ellen and Carrie gave out sets of tickets to the film’s opening night in Los Angeles for whatever price the fans could afford, including a handstand and song performance for payment.
No telling how much money these two actually raised, if any, for their undecided charity. It was really nice that the two could give out these tickets to those devoted Star Wars fans who were unable to snag seats to the event, though!
