Kelly Osbourne and Moby Will Be Honored by the Peggy Albrecht Friendly House Los Angeles

Kelly Osbourne and Moby will be honored by the Peggy Albrecht Friendly House Los Angeles, which is the first residential program in the country for women recovering from alcohol and drug abuse.

According to PR Newswire, Kelly, Moby and Los Angeles City Council president Herb Wesson will be honored at the program’s 26th annual Awards Luncheon on October 24, 2015 at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.  Kelly herself will receive the Woman of the Year award, and Moby will receive the Man of the Year Award, for their achievements in the entertainment industry but also for giving up their time towards charity efforts. Wesson will receive the Excellence in Service Award for his work in LA, fighting to pass legislation concerning the environment, education and healthcare.

Peggy Albrecht Friendly House was founded in 1951, and has successfully treated thousands of women, with a success rate of 76% compared to the hospital average of 35%.
