Beyoncé, Jay Z, Prince and More to Perform for Tidal Charity Concert


Beyoncé, Jay Z, Prince and more great acts are hitting the stage for a charity concert this October!

Jay Z’s music streaming service, Tidal, is hosting Tidal X: 1020 Amplified by HTC, the first in a series of concerts that will give back to charity, according to PEOPLE. Other acts include Usher, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, T.I., Fabolous, Damian Marley, Indochine, Thomas Rhett, DJ Cipha Sounds and DJ Reflex. Alessia Cara, Bas, Benjamin Booker, Flatbush Zombies and Justine Sky will also hit the stage. Needless to say, this will be a major, star-studded event!

According to Tidal, concertgoers can expect “collaborations on specially chosen songs to promote the message of unity through music.” The event is “aimed at raising awareness, funds, conscious engagement, and dynamic action for transformative and positive social impact worldwide,” the company said in a statement. Proceeds will support charities connected to the New World Foundation.

The concert will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Oct. 20. Ticket prices range from $74 to $244 and will be available to Tidal Members at 12 p.m. on Wednesday at Tidal plans match all net gross proceeds going to the Tidal X Fund during the pre-sale period. Tickets will be available to non-members on Friday via Ticketmaster.

  1. I love that they have a message of unity through music. This sounds like it is going to be quite the concert and putting it on for charity is just so awesome.
