Eva Longoria joined LG Electronics USA this past weekend to launch new products, all in support of a campaign to fight child hunger.
According to Look To The Stars, the actress hosted the launch of LG’s new ranges, which have ProBake Convection technology that allows consumers to cook like the pros! The event, entitled “LG Fam-To-Table Series: ProBake Edition,” supported No Kid Hungry, a campaign of anti-hunger organization Share Our Strength that gives children in need nutritious food and encourages families across the country to cook healthy, affordable meals together.
Other celebrities in attendance included, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting and Ryan Sweeting, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, Jesse Metcalfe and Dre Davis. The launch included fun demos of the products, cooking activities and games throughout the afternoon, with families enjoying the event. Activities included pizza and flatbread baking, cake and cookie decorating, a themed photo booth and more – all designed to encourage friends and families to cook together and eat together. Sounds like so much fun!
Eva, who also loves to cook, joined the stage with chef Angel Estrada to prepare recipes from her own cookbook, Eva’s Kitchen: Cooking with Love for Family and Friends. “One of my greatest passions is being able to cook with those I love and create warm memories together over food,” Eva said. “I come from a tight-knit family where we value the importance of gathering for meals and celebrations, and I’m thrilled to join LG to encourage families to do the same, all while benefitting such a fantastic cause.”
Since the launch of No Kid Hungry, the campaign has been able to provide over 345 MILLION meals! It’s truly awesome that Eva was able to combine her love of cooking with this great cause!
