Beyoncé, Coldplay and More to Headline 2015 Global Citizen Festival

Beyoncé and Coldplay, along with Pearl Jam and Ed Sheeran, will headline the 2015 Global Citizen Festival in New York this September!

According to VIBE, Global Citizen will hold the free concert on September 26 in Central Park, bringing together those wanting to make a change in the world as well as support the United Nations’ goals, The organization has partnered with CHIME FOR CHANGE, an organization founded by Beyoncé, Gucci, and Salma Hayek Pinault, that strive to increase justice, education, and healthcare for females around the world.

To be eligible to attend the concert, you must register online. Tickets are drawn at random, and “global citizens” can increase their chances to win by participating in actions revealed on the website. The amount of tickets available per person is unlimited, but participants can also redeem prizes instead.

Of course, the chance to win free tickets to see an incredible lineup is great, but the cause is that much greater. Our world has serious issues, and I hope this concert and mission continues to bring awareness and come to more solutions!
