Tom Brady was spotted supporting the 16th annual Best Buddies Challenge on Cape Cod this weekend!
According to USA Today, the NFL star biked for a half-mile with Chris Harrington, a local man with Down syndrome, and threw footballs with fans. He was joined by former Patriots teammates Dan Koppen and Scott Zolak. The event was a 100-mile ride from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum in Boston to Hyannis Port. There were also alternative 25-mile and 50-mile cycling courses, as well as 5K walk/run. Over 2,000 people took part in Saturday’s biking challenge, which organizers hope will raise over $5 million.
Tom himself serves as honorary co-chairman for Best Buddies International, which is dedicated to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In addition to this biking event, he attended a charity touch football game Friday night at Harvard Stadium which also benefited the organization.
