Stars Come Out to Support Cinema Against AIDS Gala


Stars like Adriana Lima, Eva Longoria, Jake Gyllenhall, and more came out for the 22nd annual Cinema Against AIDS gala, which raised $30 million last week in support of amfAR!

According to Look To the Stars, the black-tie event was held late last week at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France during the Cannes Film Festival.  Event Chairs included amfAR Chairman Kenneth Cole, Harvey Weinstein, Jake Gyllenhaal, Carine Roitfeld, Isabella Rossellini, Frances McDormand, Aishwarya RaiBachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, Diane Kruger, John C. Reilly, Michel Litvak, amfAR Global Fundraising Chairman Milutin Gatsby, Len Blavatnik, Nayla Hayek, Remo Ruffini, and Vin Roberti.

The event included a live auction, led by auctioneer Simon de Pury, which included fabulous artwork and jewelry, which helped to get a huge bulk of the money raised! The event also included a Black and White fashion show curated by longtime amfAR supporter Carine Roitfeld, featuring black and white designs from Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton
Givenchy and more! The evening also featured live performances from Charli XCX, Mary J. Blige, and Imagine Dragons! Man, this seemed like an amazing event!



Other stars in attendance  included Antonio Banderas, Adrien Brody, Jourdan Dunn, Chanel Iman, Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Zoe Kravitz, Sienna Miller, Petra Nemcova, Rita Ora, Michelle Rodriguez, Robin Thicke, and Chris Tucker, among others.

In his remarks, amfAR Chairman Kenneth Cole thanked everyone for their donations towards Cinema Against AIDS to assist with amfAR’s AIDS research programs. “With your help,” he said, “we have recently mounted an all-out effort to find a cure for AIDS, and are poised to write the final chapter on this deadly epidemic.”
