Little Big Town and Other Country Stars Will Participate in City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game


Little Big Town, along with other country stars, will participate in the 25th Annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game!

According to PEOPLE, the event, to be held on June 13, will be sponsored by PEOPLE Country as part of the CMA Music Festival in Nashville.

The country stars will be split into the Grand Ole Opry team and Team iHeart Radio. The Grand Ole Opry team including Chuck Wicks, Love and Theft’s Eric Gunderson, JT Hodges, Phil Vassar, Vince Gill and Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman and Jimi Westbrook. Team iHeart Radio’s players will include the other members of both Little Big Town – Phillip Sweet and Karen Fairchild – and Love and Theft’s Stephen Barker Liles, as well as Bret Michaels and Lauren Alaina.

The softball game will raise funds for City of Hope’s research institute for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening illnesses. Last year’s game raised over $200,000! A great game for a great cause!
