Some of the biggest stars came out for the 3rd annual Noble Awards, which honors charities and celebrity philanthropic work!
Hosted by AnnaLynne McCord, the event presents celebrities with awards who work in a variety of charitable categories including Youth Advocacy, Homelessness/Hunger, Environmental Protection, Human Rights/Social Justice, and more. The event was definitely a beautiful night to all who came out! According to Global NewsWire, the actual trophies were created by patients of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles under the Artists Program there. The kid creators also came out to serve as presenters at the show to give celebrity winners their trophies.
Significant moments included Zelda Williams tearfully paying tribute to the charitable work of her father, Robin Williams, and announcing The Robin Williams Fund under the Challenged Athletes Fund. She also presented a Noble Award to Scott Tinley and Rudy Garcia-Tolson, para-athletes on her dad’s triathlon team. Michelle Rodriguez and Tyrese Gibson paid tribute to friend and Fast and the Furious co-star, Paul Walker, presenting a Noble Award to Paul’s brother, Cody Walker, who took over Paul’s disaster relief nonprofit Reach Out Worldwide.
Patricia Arquette and Richmond Arquette presented to their brother, David Arquette, for his dedication to homelessness and poverty issues with nonprofit organization Feeding America. Ian Somerhalder also received an award for his environmental work under The Ian Somerhalder Foundation and then presented an award to fiance Nikki Reed for her animal advocacy work. Rosario Dawson received an award for her human activism work and announced her own foundation called All of Us. Kristen Bell also was presented with an award for her work with her charity, No Kid Hungry, accepting the award for Youth Advocacy.
Reading about all the great work that these celebrities are doing to make this world a better place really made my heart glad! They are definitely deserving of recognition for their efforts.
