It has been announced! Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief campaign recently announced a charity fashion show in aid of Ebola fundraising.
Campbell will open London Fashion Week with a celebrity-filled catwalk show, where the model and friends will wear pieces donated from different designers.
The night will also see items from designers, artists and celebrities put up for auction with the proceeds going to the Disaster Emergency Committee – including the Ebola Crisis Appeal and the Ebola Survival Fund.
Campbell said. “I’m thrilled to return to London to open London Fashion Week for this very special cause close to my heart. The Fashion For Relief Show is an incredible event and this year we hope to raise more money than ever before. Raising awareness for Ebola and educating about its prevention is crucial to help prevent the spread of this deadly disease.”
This particular event last year raised over $2.12 to help victims of the Haitian earthquake. Talk about amazing!
The Fashion For Relief show will take place at London’s Somerset House on Thursday, February 19th at 8pm. A limited amount of tickets will be made available to the public, with prices starting at £50. Tickets go on sale on January 29th at 12pm from Ticketmaster.
