GRAMMYS 2015: Katy Perry To Perform With Domestic Abuse Survivor

The Grammys 2015 is going to be a fun-filled musical celebration with lots of fun highlights and performances. And one I am looking forward to is seeing Katy Perry take the stage. This year the pop superstar will be taking the stage with a domestic abuse survivor.

Domestic abuse activist Brooke Axtelle will join Perry for her performance of Prism ballad ‘By the Grace of God’. She will recite a written-word piece during the singer’s performance at the ceremony.

Speaking to People, Axtelle said, “It’s an honor to collaborate with Katy in this way. She has been very devoted to various aspects of female empowerment. It’s going to bring a lot of encouragement and freedom to those who hear my story and know that they are not alone in this.”

Also confirmed to perform at this year’s event is Kanye West, Rihanna, Paul McCartney, Madonna and Sam Smith.

Presenters include: Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Shia LaBeouf and more while LL Cool J will host the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.
