Chris Pratt recently worked with Marvel and Children’s Miracle Network Hospital to arrange a very special screening of Guardians of the Galaxy for patients, families and staff at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. But not was just it a special movie event. It was an evening that all that were present will never forget!

Pratt dressed up as his character Star-Lord and spent more than three hours handing out movie-themed toys!

Pratt also took some time to visit patients in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, the Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases and the Pediatric ICU, as they were too sick to join the movie screening.

The actor did spend some time with Dylan Prunty, a patient at the hospital who recognized the actor’s voice from The Lego Movie. The two had fun reciting different scenes from the movie.

After the screening, Pratt handed even some fun movie swag and took photos with a ton of children and signed autographs.

It seems everyone was pleased, especially the children’s hospital as they later tweeted their gratefulness, tweeting, “Thanks for making them smile!”

Gotta love when celebrities take that time to make someone else smile!
