In addition to the 15th Annual Art for Life Benefit, Russell Simmons and the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation have a Charitybuzz auction open currently that has a particularly spectacular item that you might be interested in checking out!
Google Executive Chairman, Eric Schmidt has joined the ranks of Tim Cook and Warren Buffett by auctioning off some one-on-one time with him at the Google offices in NYC. The tech titan joined forces with leading charity auction site Charitybuzz to give one avid Google follower and their guest 30 minutes of his time and inside access to the search engine giant. Interested bidders can get in on the action at www.charitybuzz.com/catalog_items/506781 through Thursday, August 14th at 3pm EST. Proceeds directly benefit Rush.
The Executive Googler is excited to show off the $2 billion digs in Chelsea. When asked about the auction, Schmidt said, “I’m delighted to support the important work of RUSH which showcases and empowers young artists. I look forward to hosting the auction winner at Google NYC!”
How cool would that be? Definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Kudos to all involved with this one.
