Justin Bieber has made 200 cancer patients’ wishes come true through the Make-A-Wish foundation. 200!!! For those of you who didn’t know, Justin has set a record for the number of wishes he has made come true. And for his efforts and the smiles he has put on these kids’ faces, he has been honored. Bieber received the Champ of Charity award at the Young Hollywood Awards that were held recently and the pop star once again took the spotlight off of himself by taking 10-year-old cancer patient, Grace Kesabla, to the event with him who also helped the star accept the award on stage.
Belieb in Justin or not, this award goes to show that the pop star is devoted to helping others.
Australian pop star Cody Simpson presented the award to Bieber while a video montage highlighting the latter’s work with the Make-A-Wish foundation played.
“Someone asked me backstage and they said, ‘What’s it like to give?'” Bieber said in his acceptance speech. “And I didn’t really know what to say, but now I know it’s so much better than receiving.”
However, Bieber handed off the award to Grace and lifted her up with a smile. You can about imagine how wild the crowd went.
