Beyonce Launches #BeyGood Campaign

Even though Beyonce is on tour making money, she is not forgetting about those in need. For her tour across the UK, she is giving the opportunity for concert-goers to get upgraded seats in the exclusive VIP area.

So here’s the details. Bey is launching a campaign called #BeyGood that involves a partnership up with The Prince’s Trust which aims to help disadvantaged young people across the UK.

Fans can earn a sticker by making a $5 donation to The Prince’s Trust by text or online, purchasing a #BeyGood t-shirt, or bringing used items of clothing to a donation site at the venues.

Of her #Beygood campaign, Bey explains, “As a young child I was blessed to have the support of my family who encouraged me to reach for my goals. So many young people don’t have this. I am honored to partner the #BeyGood campaign with The Prince’s Trust to help young people beat the odds and create better lives for themselves.”

Isn’t that awesome?! I absolutely love that idea and I love that fact that she is giving back to those less fortunate. Good for her!

  1. Its good that she is doing this but at the end of the day she has so much money and she will never spend all of that in her life time so i would expect people like her to give alot to different charities.

  2. What a great idea to get fans to donate to those in need. And I like its simple and affordable enough for everyone to take part.

  3. Sounds like a great campaign and fundraiser and a good thing for Beyonce to do. I haven’t really been following her career as of late but I wish her well.

  4. That’s a kind thing to do, it’s helping others and her fans who donate can know they are helping too & be rewarded for it at the same time. I’d love to see her change it a bit though and match the donations or donate a set amount herself. Although maybe she’s already doing that, who knows. Either way, a good deed.

  5. I admit, I’m not a fan of her music. However, after hearing about all the good she does, I am a huge fan of Beyonce as a person. She’s just a lovely woman!

  6. It is great that she is trying to get others to do more but I would like to see her doing more. Using your name to market a charity is different then giving to the charity. I would be happier if she had said that all proceeds of the Bey Good shirt went to the charity as well.
