The 2014 UNICEF Ball took place last night in Beverly Hills, California and it was a fabulous event that once again honored humanitarian work done in collaboration with the organization, with this being the fifth year for the event.
Michael Douglas, coming fresh off his big Golden Globes win over the weekend, was given the Danny Kaye Humanitarian Peace Award at last night’s festivities and was introduced by his Behind the Candelabra co-star, Matt Damon. Damon was also one of the event’s emcees and co-hosted with producer Jerry Weintraub. Along with Douglas, Ghada Irini, the board chair for Southern California’s branch of U.S. Fund for UNICEF, was honored with the Danny Kaye Humanitarian Leadership Award.
There was a whole spectrum of celebrities that attended the event. From reality stars to A-listers to television stars to socialites…the evening welcomed them all. Check out a few photos from the event! It looked like it was a fun night.
