Justin Bieber Visits Philippines To Help Victims of Typhoon Haiyan

Justin Bieber visited the Philippines on Tuesday to lend help to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan. The 19 year old star headed to the country on a very special flight.

A couple of weeks ago the Biebs posted a photo on his Instagram page where he posed next to a sign that read “Pray 4 Philippines” with his initials at the bottom.

On December 4th, Bieber posted a video on his Facebook page asking his followers to help give back to the Philippines.

He said, “The moment I heard about the tragedy a few weeks back. I thought I can count on you guys to make a difference.”

And those that donate will be entered for a chance to meet and hang out with Bieber at a recording studio.

And of course, you KNOW that he has gotten a lot of donations by simply offering up his time to hang out with a fan.

Bieber has risen more than $600,000 dollars so far that will go to charities like UNICEF, Action Against hunger, and the Philam Foundation. His goal is to raise $1 million according to the fundraising website.

To top off the giving, Bieber also is said to have performed an exclusive concert in Tacloban.
