All the profits made from music sold on Glee’s Cory Monteith tribute episode will go to one of the actor’s favorite charities, Project Limelight.

The episode, titled ‘The Quarterback’, aired last night in the US and will air on October 18th in the UK. Project Limelight is a free performing arts program for young people living in Vancouver’s inner-city.

Lea Michele performed a solo rendition of ‘Make You Feel My Love’ in the episode, while Naya Rivera, who plays Santana, performed The Band Perry’s ‘If I Die Young’ and Amber Riley’s Mercedes took on ‘I’ll Stand By You’, which Monteith’s Finn performed in season one.

The cast also performed ‘Seasons of Love’ from the musical Rent and ‘Fire and Rain’.

Mark Salling, who stars as Puck, sang Bruce Springsteen’s 1984 track ‘No Surrender’. Puck and Finn performed another Springsteen track ‘Glory Days’ in Glee’s third season.

Monteith passed away in Vancouver in July from an accidental overdose involving a mixed drug toxicity.
