Brooke Shields is a busy woman and most recently attended the Solar One NYC fundraising event a couple of days ago.
The event was to celebrate Solar One’s Fall Equinox Celebration, which kicked off the final capital campaign to support the development of Solar 2 – the first fully resilient, energy positive building in New York City, which will be compliant with new government regulations as a result of Superstorm Sandy’s devastation. The event is the final phase in a campaign that has raised $9.5mm for the building of Solar 2.
The event took place on October 1st at 6:30 PM at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City.
Shields mingled with Chris Collins, executive director of Solar One, Jeanine Behr Getz, Author of the Think Green! and founder of Kids Think Bog, LLC and Glen C. Dailey, managing director and head of prime brokerage at Jefferies
Both Jeanine and Glen received Solar One’s Sustainability Achievement Award.
