The Game Gives $10,000 To Deceased 6-Year-Old’s Family

The Game

A little girl by the name of Tiana Ricks was shot and killed outside her family’s LA home this weekend. According to TMZ, Ricks was shot and killed when two men approached her family’s home in Moreno Valley and opened fire, shooting both Tiana and her father. Tiana was slowly dying when she looked at her father and asked him, “Are you okay, Daddy”?

How heartbreaking!

The Game said that he read about the tragedy and took to his Twitter to share his sympathy to the family, “This very sad story hit me in a place nothing ever has … Tiana did not know she was shot & kept asking was her father okay.”

And so, the rapper decided he wanted to help in some way. He tracked down Tiana’s family and offered $10,000 to help cover funeral costs to bury the 6-year-old.

TMZ also spoke with Tiana’s mother Marquia Macklin who said she was appreciative of The Game’s gesture. She explained, “Game told me that he heard about my story and was really sorry. He said that he wanted to help out and put me in touch with his financial team.”

She went on to add, “It costs so much to bury her … sadly $10,000 only covers half of the casket and the plot.”

I believe that! Funerals are expensive. But $10,000 will put a dent in the cost, that is for sure!
