Toby Keith, Garth Brooks and His Wifey Put On Show for Oklahoma Tornado Victims

It was a night of big stars for a good cause. Garth Brooks, Toby Keith and Trisha Yearwood played a sold out show on Saturday at the University of Oklahoma to benefit victims of the recent devastating tornadoes.

It is being reported that 65,000 people showed up to the event to watch the concert and show their support for the tornadoes victims.

The money that was raised from ticket sales benefits the United Way of Central Oklahoma, which put together a fund to aid victims of the storms that killed dozens of people.

When Brooks took to the stage, he announced, “Today the healing begins.”

And with some of his big hits, he helped the concert-goers have some fun as he played “Two of a Kind, Workin’ on a Full House” and “Papa Loved Mama.” His wife, Trisha Yearwood, also joined him for a duet, “In Another’s Eyes.”

So glad to see these artists giving their time and talent to these people!

  1. Had no idea Trisha sang anymore. I thought she was off doing her cooking show. It was for a good cause, so I guess it doesn’t really matter.
