Chris Brown recently stopped by Crenshaw High School in LA on July 7th to meet a group of kiddos during his launch of “WE US: Walk Everywhere in Unity’s Shoes”, a project that is providing Reeboks to 1,000 kids at three location sites in LA.
As part of his Unity Campaign, Chris is working with the LA City mayor’s office and local gang reduction organizations to help inspire change in South Central LA. According to Brown’s Symphonic Love Foundation Facebook page, Brown is producing the WE US events under the guidance of Deputy Mayor Guillermo Cespedes, and former gang members turned social activists Eugene “Big U” Henley and Skipp Townsend.
WE US brings together LA City Officials, LAPD, LA County Sheriff’s Office, local gang reduction / youth development organizations, LA graffiti artists, LA Team Breezy fans and families in a community-wide effort to inspire a message of unity.
It was this same high school that Brown filmed his “Don’t Think They Know” video that featured local children.
On Saturday July 20th, Breezy and his team made a stop at Roy Campanella Park in Compton, CA. Once we get more details on this event, we’ll be sure to share.
Chris be busy doing good things!
