The Junior Committee of Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research – a group of talented young entertainers, philanthropists and entrepreneurs – continue their mission to end cancer with a campaign video launching today in association with Ambitious Media. The video encourages their peers globally to take action by raising money for cancer research through their own campaign initiatives. This inspirational video, viewable online, will encourage young people to get involved and share ideas through their social networks. Check out the video below.

The launch coincides with Millennial Ball 2.0 which will take place on June 18th at Marquee in New York City. The event will feature music by millennial DJs Chachi, George Garcia, Imanos and Zeke Thomas. All proceeds will benefit the Foundation’s research initiatives. In its six years of existence, the junior committee has raised $170,000 for the Foundation.

Millennial Ball 2.0 will be co-hosted by Syracuse University sophomore Andrew Warren who has served on the junior committee for six years and Louie Torrellas, an Emmy-winning performer and Founder of New York-based production company, Ambitious Media. Other committee members scheduled to attend include: Peter Brandt II, Ben Arabov, David Arabov, Alexandre Assouline, Elizabeth Hilfiger, Sosie Bacon, Justin Combs, Alex Fekkai, Conrad Hilton, Tiffany Trump, Devorah Rose and Sophie Curtis. Additional sponsors include, Azunia Tequila, Voss Water and elit by Stolichnaya. Guests attending Millennial Ball 2.0 must be 18 years old to enter and 21 years old to drink and will require an ID at the door.

“I feel like the general mentality around young people these days is to become involved with charity and philanthropy when you’re older or after the traumatic experience of losing a loved one. It shouldn’t take an unfortunate circumstance to motivate you to get involved; we should all want to do good throughout our youth. Andrew and I are both very socially responsible which is why we partnered with the goal of helping our generation realize being involved in charitable acts is not only important but highly social, fun, and an exciting experience,” says event host Louie Torrellas.

Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite or by calling the Foundation office (646) 861-2033. For more information about Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research please visit www.gabriellesangels.org.
