Kesha is all about supporting the underdog as she has experienced that herself in life. Now, she’s lending a hand and an ear to those who have been bullied. The Love is Louder campaign is Kesha’s latest charitable contribution as it involves offering love and support to those who need it.
In her new show Kesha: My Crazy Beautiful Life, the singer opens up about her experiences with bullying and she even goes as far as helping out a fan who is dealing with a bully in his life.
Kesha is quoted as saying, “As someone that’s been bullied my entire life, I know first-hand how this type of victimization can destroy lives and relationships. It is imperative that we empower kids to believe love and support are louder than anyone that brings us down.”
Kesha is now asking her fans to support each other and to take down the bullies as Love is Louder’s celebrity ambassador.
So how can you get involved?
Simple! Take a photo with the words “Love is Louder” somewhere in the photo and then post the picture to Love is Louder’s Facebook wall or post them to Twitter, Instagram, or Tumblr using the hashtag #loveislouder, by May 21st.
Ke$ha will be choosing her favorite photos and sharing them on her social media pages AND a select few will appear at the end of the May 28th finale of “Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life.” Feel free to tweet what #loveislouder means to you to Ke$ha at @keshasuxx, and she’ll retweet some of her faves.
