Oscar de la Renta, Elizabeth Street, Kelly Florio Kasouf, author of the highly acclaimed “Super Adventures of Sophie and the City” and host committee Kate Beckinsale, Mary Alice Haney, Angie Harmon, Melissa Sagemiller Nesic, Tara Swennen and Kimberly Van Der Beek brought together the city’s chicest moms, with guests including Julie Bowen, Bree Turner, Nia Vardalos, Tiffani Thiessen, Julie Moran, Sarah Jane Morris, Jaime Ray Newman, Natalia Safran, Claiborne Swanson, as well as Amanda Luttrell Garrigus, Shannon Rotenberg, Helen Kinnear, Julia Franz and more.
The night brought out L.A.’s most stylish moms and children to shop, mingle, and participate in fun family activities, with a percentage of the proceeds benefiting Baby Buggy. Kelly Florio Kasouf, mom and author of The Super Adventures of Sophie and the City, that sparked the collaboration with Oscar de la Renta to design the limited edition “Sophie Party Dress,” greeted guests, signed copies of her book and put on an impromptu reading for the fashionable children in attendance. Between shopping the Oscar de la Renta store and sipping on lemonade, children and mothers alike enjoyed the “Oscar de la Renta” paper dolls, coloring them to show off their creativity, balloons styled into everything from lady-bug headbands to wearable jet-packs and sweet treats all made available at eye level for the “mini” crowd in attendance.
