Kate Middleton may have endured a tough beginning pregnancy, but she is showing no signs of slowing down her spirit of giving. The Duchess of Cambridge recently participated in the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (also known as EACH) annual charity auction. She first became involved in this organization back in January of 2011 and has shown her support the past couple of years.
Middleton has had her own scare with hospitalization during her pregnancy and even though she was holed up in a hospital room she used her time there to make sure she offered a baby hamper for the fundraising event. She’s always got her mind on others! Love her!
In a statement on the auction’s webpage, Kate released the following statement, “EACH is invaluable to hundreds of families. In the past year there has been an unprecedented amount of care and support delivered to children and young people with life-threatening illnesses, and their families. I have been fortunate enough to meet some of those who have been supported by EACH, and seen firsthand the positive impact this organization has on their lives. For both families accessing care, and those who have been bereaved, EACH is a lifeline at an unimaginably difficult time.”
