Alana Stewart Carries On BFF Farrah Fawcett’s Legacy Through Foundation Glamour Project

The Farrah Fawcett Foundation (FFF) recently collaborated with The Glamour Project in conjunction with Jose Eber and Jaclyn Smith to create “A Day of Beauty” at the City of Hope hospital. Thanks to donations from Senna Cosmetics and Armani Beauty for contributing the make-up for this event.

Wigs provided by Jaclyn Smith and personally styled and cut by Jose Eber’s team, created a tear-filled and moving day. These amazing women allowed themselves to be transformed from the outside-in to bring out their inner beauty. Smiles and some tears were had by all.

Patients ranged in age from a 9 year old girl suffering from leukemia to an 82 year old woman.

”I think this exactly the kind of project that Farrah would have loved to be involved with and it was doubly meaningful because of Jacyln Smith’s participation and Jose Eber who was also a long- time friend and hairstylist of Farrah’s” explained Alana Stewart, President of the FFF.

All make-over patients were gifted their wigs and make-up to help celebrate their ‘feelings’ better.

The FFF hopes to continue this collaboration with other hospitals around the country. Christine Romeo, the Director of Communications at the FFF said:

“We are grateful to be part of this amazing collaboration. We hope to expand this program to multiple hospitals in cities around the country. To watch the joy on the faces of the patients as well as their family members was a great gift.”
